Yes, the plan was to post while in Vietnam, but the computer refused to cooperate. Viet virus? Back in Timaru, the computer went into intensive care at Dave's Computer Shop in his garage, one block from our flat. Fixed? We shall see. At least I can now post photos, which I was not able to do before. Something with Internet Explorer. So now, in Chrome I continue.

I was particularly charmed by the innovative ways people moved their products through the streets: prams, push carts, yoked baskets, motorcycle. Because the infrastructure is not upgraded to handle a lot of traffic, the government keeps auto traffic limited by putting a 200% tax on automobile purchases (according to Thao). Motorcycles are expensive but much cheaper by comparison so that is how most people get around.
